Ok, so Friends of Chris and Kelly will only last so long.

Suggestions welcome for a new name. Each will be considered and more than likely pu to the vote (or I will pick)

Timmy J! I was gonna make out like this was the first time I have responded to one of your posts but then I realised I had responded to one of your Happy New Years posts...so pretending like this was the first time I had responded to one of your posts is probably not cool. So ignore the "Timmy J!"

Anyways, I like The Gathering suggestion. I wonder if anyone could come up with a godly spin on that? Something like The Synagogue maybe? (and a big hello to our Jews for Jesus friends out there!).

Anyways, just a thought.

Hi Miguel,

Your cool factor is still intact.

The literal meaning of the greek translated church is actually gathering or meeting. So there is some theology there.

In Biblical greek church actually means any gathering of like minded people. So technically a gathering of trekkies is a church. Christians claimed it early on, as we gather in Unity through Christ to praise, glorify and grow in Him.

Also the gathering of God's people is symbolic as it reverses the exile or spreading of God's people in judgement.

From Adam and Eve exiled from the garden, to Israel's exile from the Promised Land, dispersment has been a symbol of Judgement.

It is through Christ that God is "Gathering" his people to him.

Awesome stuff!

In light of all that, "The Gathering" has my tentative support then.

But I have come up with a far superior title for our little forum here. It should be called "The Batcave"

C'mon! What do we all think! To show you how cool that title is, Afroman has come in to give it his vote of confidence. afro

I love afroman.

I find it very hard to reconcile your Godly responses when an Anarchist is looking at me from your display pic!

The Gathering is not bad. Will think on it a little more.

I fear that my number one hero - "Superman", would feel, uncomfortable, me writing anything in the "batcave"

The Gathering sounds pretty cool, pretty out there. It has my vote. I do like my own FHM but hey, kel's right, not everyone is a monster. (like me)

That A is not for anarchy it's for Andrew. Sometimes I like to express the inner Andrew.
