Re: Mish's first day
It was so fantastic!! Im in an office (think construction site office) thats set in a warehouse. I have three others in there with me, 2 girls, and 1 guy called scott who sits right next to me. I had lots of fun, had lots of jokes, and learned heaps - however how much i retain I dont know. I did meet heaps of people in the warehouse,I swear those guys on the forklifts are INSANE!!!! But so much fun to be with. There's only the three of us girls with about 20 or so guys. I was told that i needed a sense of humour to work there. I can now see why. I am so glad that this was where i ended up!! I couldnt have asked for a better first day...
Ok, the job that I am doing is booking articles on to trucks to take to airports around the country, or to pick up articles from around the country to bring back to the warehouse before they are sent out to the customers.
I will also be doing work in the office upstairs, where there are another 3 girls, myself included, and that's all finance related stuff. But Im stoked.

Afroman says "aight dawg, thas some good news ay!"
Miguel says "booyah"
And the assembly at the 18th hole concourse, just in front of the clubhouse do their little golf clap.
Seriously, thats great news!
Have you called Westpac yet and given them the old "ner ner, di ner ner ner"?

Does that involve burning a bank? I dont think I could do that, but I have sent a couple of emails before I left work, I am certain that they will be fine.... and dandy with the email i sent them.. hee hee hee.
Another great day had, one of the guys makes me laugh, and he doesnt even need to open his mouth. He came into my office today and started flexing - I think it was to show me his muscles in his arms, apart from the fact i couldnt see any, I was laughing hysterically. Then he came in later so i could have some eye candy... what a shocker!!!
I did all the work today without much assistance, but there is so much to learn. I love every second of it. I can't get enough of it. I dont know where the time went between 2 & 5 but it was gooone!
How's everyone else?

Re: Mish's first day
Well, my first week was fabulous!
I love it heaps and heaps and heaps. Apparently, I will have email access from next week onwards, and will officially have my own desk woot woot.
Friday after work, I went with my friends Te & Dave back to his place, where we sat and solved the worlds problems listening to tracey chapman, crowded house, live, fall out boy, alice cooper & nelly fertado, bit of a mixture as you can see, but was well worth it. Te & I left Dave's at about 4am.
I was on the hard stuff all night, water & lemonade (not mixed together) I drove Te home, and then drove myself home - my sis was already in bed & she was up and out of the unit well before I could even pull myself out of a coma. she even had a full on conversation with me, which i do not recall having...
I am looking forward to my week next week, but i fear i may not enjoy it as much because I will be spending more time in the office upstairs rather than my comfy office downstairs in the warehouse, where I feel right at home.
